MOD POST
With reserves opening this coming Monday, we would like to take this time to announce some changes that Proxima Gamma will be taking in both the reserve process as well as our applications rounds.
Starting on Monday reserves will be open 24/7. To mirror how long people currently have to work on their applications while reserves are open but applications are closed, all reserves going forward will last one week. During the time the reserve is held, no one else will be able to apply the characters on reserve. Once the reserve has expired, anyone may apply for that character again. If you do not hand in your application within the week of your reserve, you will have to wait two weeks before you may apply for that character again. Your comment will be screened for two weeks rather than deleted in order to keep a record of the date easily viewed by yourself and the mods.
When applications open on September 25th, they will remain open 24/7. Applications will be process every Friday from then on, or when we reach 10 applications in a given week. Challenge applications will be permitted so long as the character is not currently on reserve.
We are hoping that these changes in our process will impact the reserve and application rate and help the community grow on a whole.
We would love for you all to help to get the word out about these changes. They'll be posted on Sean's plurk (jamestiberiuskirk for those who do not have him added) which is public so it can be replurked. You may also feel free to link to this post in your own timeline if you would prefer.
